Home / How it works

One trustworthy place. Everything nearby.

People don't lack event websites β€” they lack one honest guide that shows everything close by, on the right dates, with the details that decide whether they can actually go.

The problem we're fixing

Where listings come from

What we never do: scrape private accounts, login-protected pages, social profiles, or sites that prohibit reuse. Every real listing carries its source link and a last-verified date β€” the organizer's site is always the authority.

The weekly refresh

The guide is designed around a weekly update cycle: re-check every feed and calendar, expire past events, flag date changes, and re-verify the "last verified" stamp on featured listings. Anything ambiguous goes to a human review queue instead of publishing automatically.

APIs that need sign-up or approval before launch

Privacy

No accounts are required to browse. Saved events live in your own browser. Location is never requested without asking, and search works fine without GPS β€” type any town or ZIP. We don't sell data or run ad trackers. (Template β€” attorney review before public launch.)

Listing terms

Submissions must be real events you have the right to publish. We may edit for clarity, decline listings, or remove anything reported as inaccurate. Featured placement is always labeled. (Template β€” attorney review before public launch.)
